New NiCD battery cells being assembled with nickel metal strips. Without the ability to spot weld the strips to the cells, the next best option is to solder them together by applying some solder to both the strip and the cells, then put the strip on the cells (solder to solder) and heat the strip from the back side until the solder melts.
I have too much solder here. It was a bit sloppy, but it worked :).
