Idle Air Controller

Description[edit]

The Idle Air Controller (IAC) is a stepper motor located on the bottom part of the throttle body. The IAC controlled by your ECU. The purpose of the IAC is to control the idle speed of your 6G72 motor. If your IAC shorts out or the servo becomes worn, your idle may fluctuate either too high or too low.
