BRG - Blue Ridge Gathering of the South East, 1999 - Present

== How It All Started ==
The Blue Ridge Gathering (BRG) has been an annual event for Mitsubishi 3000GT and Dodge Stealth Owners since 1999. As some of you know, the BRG has always been a laid back, social gathering. Each year, we hold an annual car show which is judged by owners peers. Each year trophies are handed out for varies performance categories. Another long growing tradition is The Tail of the Dragon (Deal's Gap, Rt. 129) [http://www.tailofthedragon.com http://www.TailoftheDragon.com/] 318 curves in 11 miles. The BRG is listed in the Dragon's Calendar of events for each year. This mountain Hwy. is known through out the US as one of the most exciting roads to drive. Testing driver's skills, The Dragon also has some of the most beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains.
In 1999, BRG 1 a total of 8 cars gathered on a weekend in June. 7 years later in July of 2006 - 53 cars gathering making it the largest Blue Ridge Gathering to date.
